My name is Kanybek Toichiev,
but most people call me Gena.

I spent twenty years in Russia - building houses, drawing lines,
working with form, with weight, with precision.
Now I’m back home - in Kyrgyzstan.
And everything that’s been held inside for years - finally broke free.

These days, I build meanings instead of walls.
I work with color, light, and motion.
I paint, I experiment, I perform.
I’m drawn to what lives and breathes,
to what can’t be explained with words.

I’m not searching for harmony - I’m searching for the truth of the moment.
And if someone feels something - then it was worth it.
